Shows a plank hut and fence in the foreground, a small house in the background, in the Hutt Forest, Hutt Valley. The buildings are in a small clearing amidst tall trees, one to the left with a branching and a double trunk from about half-way up probably being the 'many-branched pine' referred to in the title
Title from verso, partly obliterated
It is not known whether the 'pine' referred to in the title is a rimu (red pine) or kahikitea (white pine).
