Description: Contains information about the ownership of Wairarapa Moana, and information about associated mahinga kai and pa (provided by Hohepa Aporo to Eruha Piripi); contains related whakapapa for various hapu around Wairarapa Moana and elsewhere (esp Ngati Te Whatuiapiti), and whakapapa from different waka to the Te Whaiti family; also contains diary entries about various events in the South Wairarapa, including the work of Hikapuhi; account of the migration of Te Rangitawhanga to Wairarapa (by Hemi Epanaina); waiata from Wairarapa and elsewhere; contains the ohaki a Tau Edwards (similar to a will)
