Correspondence, notes and reports relating to Hall-Jones' political career during the Seddon and Ward ministries, and as member of the Legislative Council (1913-1936). A large part of the papers are concerned with his work as Acting Prime Minister (1906), Minister of Public Works and Marine (1893-1906), and New Zealand High Commissioner in London (1908-1912). Includes private papers and correspondence, although most of these are semi-political in nature. Also testimonials and memorabilia, photographs, published official papers and newspaper clippings.
