Photographs of a polo tournament held at Miramar in 1901.
The first part of the album shows the various teams (Rangitikei, Wellington, Christchurch, Oroua, Hawke's Bay, Hawera and Victorian) competing, in which the team names are given, but individual players are unidentified. There are also action snapshots of some of the games.
Pages 27 to 30 show the "Donkey Polo Team", as a group, and then in action on the field.
Inside back cover a hand-written note reads "Any of the snapshots in this book may be obtained from J.H. Brown, 180 Willis St., Wellington, N.Z. Teams 2/6, snapshots 1/-. Please quote number when ordering".
