Shows gentleman with leather bag engraved "W.F." (William Ferguson), coming out of a door marked Wellington Harbour Board at right. At centre and left, are scenes of the harbour.
Inscriptions: Recto - beneath image - "My voice you oft have heard and have not feared,/ But still rejoiced; how is it now become / So dreadful to you?"
William Ferguson resigned from the harbour board at about this time, after about 20 years.
