Description

Wellington College and grounds with a cricket game in progress. Photograph probably taken by William Hall Raine in about 1920.

Gothic school building originally had a spire which was removed in 1909. This building was demolished in 1931. Brick school building on right completed 1908. No sign of the extensive rebuilding of the 1920s which began in 1922. Date somewhere between 1909 and 1922.
