Shows a truck with two flat tyres (Reidrubber and Dunlop). Hugh Templeton, Minister of Trade and Industry, is trying to pump up the Dunlop tyre with $1.5 million. The passenger (tyre worker) is telling him the Reidrubber tyre will give him a 'smoother ride'. Refers to government financial assistance in restructuring the tyre industry, and the takeover of Reidrubber by Dunlop NZ.
