Crowd at the Wellington Bowling Club, Aro Street, taken ca 5 December 1912 by Sydney Charles Smith. Shows a brick building with elaborate wooden fretwork. A small crowd of people, predominantly men, is gathered at the bottom of the steps leading up to the upper storey of the building and a group of women is standing on the verandah of the building. The corner of the bowling green can be seen on the right of the image.
The architect that designed the Wellington Bowling Club building was Edward Blake
