Diary continues directly from MSX-2542 with Malone arranging transport for soldiers to the Zeitoun Camp. Describes life in camp and the training regime for his men. Comments on going to church, parades, night marches, and the local people and identities in Zeitoun, Heliopolis and Cairo. Ends 9 Jan 1915 where soldiers are addressed by the Hon T McKenzie. Notes visiting his 49 sick men at Abbassiah Hospital, two men already dead from pneumonia.
