J M Walter, importer of fancy goods, cigars and tobacco, wholesale and retail, corner of Willis and Boulcott Streets (exterior view of premises)
Davis & Clater, shirt tailors, hatters, hosiers, mercers and general outfitters, 97 and 99 Lambton Quay (exterior view of premises, and an illustration of their logo displaying the words "By special appointment to His Excellency the Governor")
Grace, Clarke & Co, sewing and knitting machine importers. Chief depot in Manners Street Wellington, Palmerston North, also at Auckland, Wanganui, Masterton, &c. Sole agents for North Island of New Zealand for the wonderful "Werthiem" machines, also Jones and Pearson's, and wax thread and boot and saddlery machines Above is shown an illustration of "Wertheim" knitting machine and sewing machine.
