Shows a view loking south along a beach, with the foreshore at the right, and Rangitoto Island across the sea at the left. A figure walks along the beach which is strewn with driftwood at high tide level, and two dinghies lie on the sand. There is a sailboat in the middle distance.
Accompanying caption slip notes that the location is now known as Campbells Bay.
