Other Titles - Photographer's title is \"Mine Street, Waiuku\" however the view is of Queen Street, known at that time as Main Street.

A researcher has suggested that the occasion was the visit of the Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward. Sir Joseph visited the town briefly 1 February 1911.
