World War I troops inside a large shed on the wharves at Dover, England, having disembarked from France. Most are sitting in rows with their kits. Some wear paper Union Jacks on their caps. A few women are present. Bunting hangs overhead. Photograph taken probably late 1918 by Thomas Frederick Scales.
