Relate mainly to the donor's father, George Klee. Shows George and his brothers as volunteers for the South African War. George as a volunteer in the artillery at Wellington taking part in training and activities supporting the Home of Compassion. There are some photographs dating from World War I and World War II, but the largest group relate to the ship 'Janey Seddon' and her use by the Fort Dorset Garrison for towing shell practice targets into place. George Klee captained this ship during World War II.
