Walter Johnston, Minister for Public Works, depicted as a hen which has just laid an egg. The egg is marked 'Public Works Statement' and is surrounded by the words '£3,000,000 loan'. Refers to perceived extravagance on the part of the Government and the Minister for Public Works.
