View looking northeast across Khandallah toward Petone and the eastern hills of the Hutt Valley. Shalimar Crescent is in the left foreground and Benares Street is also on the left. The white house on the brow of the hill on the right hand side of Benares Street (number 12) was built in 1936. Taken by an unidentified photographer, circa 1938.
