Men of 2 NZ Division on Italian front near Faenza receiving their Patriotic parcels a few days before Christmas. Identified group includes M & W Quirke, F Kidd, W Jury, E I Sampson, F G Hobbs, W G Hopkins, J E Broad of Gisborne, S A Norris, L G Christensen & W R Campbell.Also RAF personnel who were attached to 2 NZ Division (E W Lewis, J Realf, F Simons & G C Clark).
On 2 Oct 1943 the New Zealand Division was moved from Egypt to support the 8th Army in Italy.
