This cartoon has two scenes. In the upper scene Duncan MacIntyre, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, is brandishing a garden fork. He is leading a group of horticulturalists each of whom is holding a flower pot. In the lower scene Muldoon is standing with an order sheet in his hand showing samples of his lilies to a row of Japanese men. Refers to Muldoon's hobby of lily growing, and Japan/New Zealand trading.
Duncan MacIntyre accompanied Muldoon on a visit to Japan in April 1981.
