Application form submitted by John Williams; history of the Williams family of `Charlcombe', Lyalldale, South Canterbury; photographs of the farm and family; certificates of title and maps.
Original owner of the farm was Arthur Cuthbert Williams who purchased 584 acres in 1901. In 2007 the property was owned by his great-grandson, J C L Williams.
In 2006 the property was awarded the New Zealand Century Farm and Station award to mark over 100 years of continuous ownership by one family.
