Description

Flier advertising the Dunedin printing firm of Coulls Somerville Wilkie. A brief description of printing at top left mentions William Caxton and there is a small illustration of him at top right. William Colenso and the Church Mission Press of 1835 are mentioned. Coulls Somerville Wilkie announces itself to be the first to develop modern photo-lithography, the first to introduce embossed seal printing and the first in the dominion with photogravure.
