Te Aro, Wellington, photographed in 1858 by Reverend Arthur Henry Stock. Shows Abel Smith Street running diagonally towards Taranaki Street. Mt Cook Barracks are in the right background. Algernon Gray Tollemache's house is in the right foreground, at the junction of Willis and Abel Smith Streets. Reverend A Stock's house is near Tollemache's and Captain Daniell's is near the centre of the image.
