Crowd at the opening of the rowing season at the Star Boating Club, Wellington. The buildings are draped with flags, and there is a cox and four in the water. The crowd is standing in front of the boating club, as well as to the side, and on the upper level. Photograph taken by Sydney Charles Smith in 1908.
