U S spies; N Z dies. Is Tangimoana a nuclear target? [1984].

Date

Description

Arrangement of text with central panel showing two scenes: at left the guards sleeping at the U S missile depot; and at right, some sheep asking Mr Thompson about Tangimoana. He replies that it is an installation for rersearch and rescue operations to help and protect New Zealanders. The text below suggests that Tangimoana is part of a US world-wide electronic spying system called Bullseye, and is probably a foreign base. This is likely to make New Zealand a nuclear target.
