Sepia ink and wash drawing shows a general view of Wellington from the home of William Barnard Rhodes in Wadestown. Shows Point Jerningham and the Miramar Peninsula, and the distant Orongorongo Range. In the foreground is a roadway leading downhill, with a wooden fence beside it. There are trees in a gully in a dip to the left, and a horse standing above them on the hillside.
