House being moved by truck to Fairlie, South Canterbury, Mar 1950; Alex Lindsay String Orchestra playing at an outdoor concert held at the sound-shell glade of Wellington Botanic Gardens, 1954; debuntantes and committee at Marlborough College Golden Jubilee Ball, Mar 1950 (all named on verso).
Series of mounted and captioned photograph taken by F G Fitzgerald of mountaineering in Southern Alps. Views include: cameraman on Harman Pass photographing snow on the Kelly Range Saddle; Cronin Glacier between Mounts Marion and Rosamund viewed from the Whitehorn Pass; Arahura River valley.
