A copy of a newspaper wood engraving of a cartoon. New Zealand Prime Minister Joe Ward lifts the 'freehold' crust off the 'leasehold pie' for two dissatisfied boys who represent freeholders and leaseholders respectively.
Extended Title - Sir Joe - "Now, Mister Freeholder, I can recommend the beautiful crust; and you, Mister Leaseholder, will find the fruit lovely and filling.
