The papers consist of:

Application form submitted by Tony Didsbury; photographs of the families and station; papers relating to the centennial celebrations held in 1977; certificate of title and map.

Original owner was Duncan McDougall who purchased the Pirinoa Station from Richard Barton in Jan 1877. In 2006 it was owned by his great-grandson Tony Didsbury and his wife Gaye.

In 2006 Pironia Station was awarded the New Zealand Century Farm and Station award to mark over 100 years of continuous ownership by one family.
