Description

Frankton Junction Station. Standing on the platform are - R B Peat (stationmaster). A Crisp. F Auger. Arthur Auger. J Knight. Photographer unidentified. (Names from caption published with this image in Main Trunk: Portrait of a Railway, Christine Johnson, Grantham House Publishing Wellington New Zealand, 2008, p 31).

Riro Marett pointed out that the name Anger used in the caption of Main Trunk: Portrait of a Railway, Christine Johnson, 2008 (in caption on page 31) was wrong. The name should be Auger, and Arthur Auger was her maternal grandfather. Information recieved June 2009.
