View of Rail Motor R.M.20 in 1936. New Zealand Railways photograph, with an original print filed in Godber Album Vol 108, p 97 (Pa1-q-101). This image is a film negative copied by A P Godber from the original print in his album.
Inscriptions: Album page - bottom centre - 1936. Night Newspaper Run - Christchurch-Hokitika. Length 25 ft. Wheel base 14 ft 6 in, Weight empty 7.8 T, Horse power 48 R.A.C., Horse power 95 at 1850 revs p.m., M.P.G. 18, Max speed 50, Engine, Leyland Diesel 8.6 litre, Passengers 20. Dismantled 1940.
