Brigadier H S Kenrick, Director Medical Services 2 NZEF, speaking on the occasion of the handing over of a cheque donated by repatriated personnel to the Red Cross Society at the 23rd New Zealand Field Ambulance Unit at Maadi Camp, Egypt. This cheque for an amount of £1814 was donated by the repatriates while on their way back from German POW camps in appreciation of the assistance given to them while POWs. Photograph taken at Maadi Camp circa 12 November 1943 by George Robert Bull.
