Description

Te Aro, Wellington, circa 1868, with Willis Street in the foreground. Manners Street is on the right with the Criterion Family Hotel. Bond Street is on the left with the Canton Tea Mart of E H Crease. A seedsman & fruiterer has a business on Willis Street. Also just visible are signs advertising the businesses of Dranefield, E Stafford & Co (ship chandlers and sail makers), (J E ?) Evans (saddlers), and the Chavannes Family Hotel. Photographer unidentified.
