View of Lake Takapuna (now known as Lake Pupuke) with row boats on the lake. A group of people are in the immediate foreground in the shade of a pohutukawa. A rowboat with a flag at the stern is at the lake edge and another boat is being rowed on the lake nearby. A large house can be seen across the lake in the distance.
