Scrapbook of clippings, notes, papers from the Appendices to the journals of the House of Representatives and British Parliamentary papers, and other material, much heavily annotated; includes list of contents, translations, obituaries and general material relating to Maori concerns and especially relating to the treatment Maori have undergone since the Treaty of Waitangi was signed. Spine title indicates years covered are 1884-1886 but the material covers a much wider period than that.
