Shows a framed full-length portrait of Dumont d'Urville at top left, and a picture of the sailing ship the Astrolabe in mid-ocean at the right. Below is a depiction of the train wreck by a bridge over the Paris-Versailles line, where Dumont d'Urville was killed with his wife and son in 1842.
