Contains copies of papers from the Grey collection manuscripts, mostly from Te Rangikaheke's material. Also contains copy of published work by Samuel Locke about the history and traditions of Taupo and the East Coast. Includes various indexes and inventories to the collection with some holographic notes by Piripi Walker. also contains papers and correspondence between Keith Cairns, the Alexander Turnbull Library, the Masterton Borough Council and the Wairarapa Tribal Committee about Maori records contain within the Monument of Peace erected in Masterton in 1921.
