Comprises letter from Simonsen to Miss E Angela Hill, secretary/treasurer of the Friends of the Turnbull Library, thanking the Friends for sending him a free copy of Rachel Barrowman's book `The Turnbull Library and its world' and in return sending his address given at the dinner for the 40th anniversary of the Marlborough Historical Society, which discusses the history of the society and also includes some biographical information about Simsonsen and his earlier association with the Turnbull Library
