View of Victoria Avenue, Wanganui from City Bridge. The post office clock tower is visible centre left, the street is lined with shops, and there are several horse-drawn carts coming towards the camera. In the centre of the image Watt Fountain is visible. Photograph taken by William Archer Price, probably between 1902 and 1906.
Information for date of photography is taken from the fact that the fountain was moved to make way for a new tram line which was opened in December 1908, and information from local historian.
