Photograph attributed to Robina Nicol, taken circa 1901, showing the Government arch on Lambton Quay, erected for the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York in 1901. The arch is modelled on Balmoral Castle, with a photograph of the Duke on one column and one of the Duchess on the other. An inscription on the top of the arch reads "Ma Te atua korua e atawhai".
