Description

Poster promoting an orchestral concert. An arrangement of text.

The Camp Entertainment Fund was set up in 1916, for the public to donate money to provide motor-cars for performers at concerts for soldiers, the cost averaging between £30 and £40 per month. The performers at concerts included Y.M.C.A., Salvation Army, Catholic, and Church of England Associations, Victoria League, and New Zealand Natives (see Evening Post, 25 July 1916, Page 2).
