A small one or two-room slab hut in a clearing, with smoke coming from its chimney. Its roof is made from a stretched canvas tarpaulin. An a-frame shed is in the right background. In the foreground is a neatly-laid out vegetable garden. A rata on the left, as well as several tree ferns can be seen, with dense bush in the background
