In the front of the crowd are David Lange, Roger Douglas and Mike Moore. There are many Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament signs and a banner marked 'N.Z. Butter!'. The implication is that France cares nothing for New Zealand's anti-nuclear protests and for its complaints about the treatment its butter exports have been receiving from the European Economic Community
