Map drawn by Te Wharekorari for W. B. D. Mantell in 1848 showing the South Island lakes Ohau, Pukaki, and Tekapo and the rivers draining and filling them.
It is probable that Te Wharekorari drew the lines of the map and dictated the Maori names to Mantell, who recorded them in the correct areas.
