Description

Shows a man with an inflatable toy in the sea, a swimmer in a bathing cap who is sitting on a rock on a beach, a man sunbathing, 'Blossom' the elephant seal and a man taking ferry bookings at a counter. Refers to Barrie Devenport's swim across Cook Strait.

Blossom (Elephant seal) came ashore at Oriental Bay, Wellington in 1962. Returned again the following year.
