Description

View of Lambton Quay from the intersection with Featherston Street. The South British Insurance Company Ltd is on the left next door to the Supreme Court building (which became the Bank of New South Wales in 1882). The tower on Clay Point can be seen on the hill behind. There is a black dog sitting in the middle of the street. Photograph taken by W H W Davis ca 1870s-1880s.
