View across the Thames River of the lawn at the No. 2 New Zealand General Hospital at Walton-on-Thames, England, during World War I. Shows crowds of people gathered on it many of whom wear the blue hospital uniform. Women, some of whom are nurses, are also present. Many of the people are boating on the river. Three marquees are pitched on the top level. Photograph taken circa 1918 by Thomas Frederick Scales.
