18 negatives of various scenes. Five are of the fire on Mein Street, Newtown in 1901 which show the chimneys left standing, police at the scene and people's belongings piled up in the nearby town belt; three are of a procession in Wellington; two are of a war memorial; two are of a car; two are of a coal mining railway through the bush probably on the West Coast; one is of a woman in a bathing suit about to dive off a yacht with others on board; one if of Panckhurst & Co Drapery Emporium next to the main post office in Westport; one is of a bridge; and one of a crane towed by a steam locomotive probably next to the Hutt Road. Photographer unidentified.
