Description

Shows three scenes. In the upper scene Muldoon is seen in Antartica where he was attending the 25th anniversary of Scott Base. He is being 'cold-shouldered' by other guests at the celebration. In the lower left scene a speaker at a National Party meeting is demanding that they 'seize the treasury bench' while Muldoon is away in Antartica. In the lower right scene Muldoon, still in Antartica, is being presented with a parachute before boarding a plane. He is told the parachute comes 'with the compliments of the new prime minister' and that 'Mr Beetham will tell you when to jump'.

Extended Title - The P.M. is well situated to be cold-shouldered - his absence could polarise party opinion - and, in the spirit of the Antarctic Treaty - dumping could be a joint operation
