Two men representing 'labor' (trade unions] and 'communists' are fighting over the wheel of their '1925 Labor bus' motor vehicle. The bus is careering down a road which is signposted to the general election.
Extended Title - The Communist element in the New Zealand Labour Party is giving the more thoughtful and moderate menbers of the Party considerable concern. There are, happily, not many of them, but they are capable of causing a lot of trouble, especially in view of this year's general elections, and are endeavouring to work into a position in which they can act as dictators. Moderate Labour to the Wild Man - 'No, you don't Bolshy, not if I know it! Keep quiet or get out! It's a rocky road we're travelling, and we'd soon be in the ditch if you took charge.'
