A view of Rongotai, Wellington, showing the Power Station on the left, the Centennial Exhibition Buildings in the centre and the beach with bathing sheds on the right. Photograph taken by William Hall Raine, probably some time between the exhibition's opening on 8 November 1939, and its closure in May 1940. (Date determined by the fact that flags are flying from all the flag polls on the outer edges of the Exhibition buildings).
