Shows the church through an avenue of trees, with the vicar, possibly Rev A C Dasent, farewelling parishioners (two women and two small girls) after the service.
The church shown was the first St Mary's, Karori, built 1866, demolished 1925, after the erection of the current church in 1911
The artist was the daughter of Rev Dasent, third Vicar of St Mary's, Karori.
